A highly detailed and colorful German plate with "Betsy Ross" figural courting scenes. The luncheon/salad plate measures 8 3/8" in diameter. There is the floral, embossed rim with panels and lots of gold! The inside of the plate features four triangles---two with Dresden florals on a blue panel and two with a man and woman in period dress. Old Blue mark is dated as early as 1918, making this date 1918-1920s.
There are 6 of these plates available. All are in excellent condition. There is a small amount of gold and color rubbing, but commensurate with its age. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.
