Morning glories adorn the lid on this stunning powder jar. They are in high relief on the top, leaving a spot for your monogram. The makers mark is missing from this sterling lid, but it is marked STERLING 925/1000 on the gilt underneath side. The crystal jar is outstanding in its own right. It has 8 cut panels on the side with intaglio flowers and leaves encircling them. There is a starburst on the bottom of the piece. Height is 3 7/8". Jar circumference is 12 3/4". Lid diameter is 3 1/4".
There is one very slight compression on the side of the top right underneath one of the leaves, but believe me, it is in excellent vintage condition. If it bothers you, your jeweler can take care of it with no problem.
