Collectors of blue and white may be interested in this fine porcelain teapot, as well as collectors of Dresden porcelain. It was made in Germany by Schumann, Arzberg. I think it was made prior to 1914. Various blue flowers, such as daisies, roses, mums, lily of the valley, lilies, sweet peas, are scattered over a white ground. The piece is highlighted with gold. The teapot will hold approximately 5-6 cups of fluid. It stands 9 1/2" tall and is 9" from spout to handle. It has a really pretty pineapple design for the finial. There is embossing on the neck of the pitcher above the gold detail line, on the lid below the detail line, and above the scalloped base. It is in excellent condition. The backstamp is shown below.
